It’s pretty obvious just by looking at his Instagram that he’s dripping with swag juice. But to add to that, he’s a member of two fraternities, Kappa Kappa Psi and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He pledged Alpha Phi Alpha in 1996 at Tuskegee’s Alpha Nu Lambda Chapter and is an active, life member of the fraternity.

He was a High School Tennis Star

Richie attended Joliet Township High School in Joliet, Illinois and accepted a tennis scholarship to Tuskegee Institute. I mean seriously, what can’t this man do?

The multiple Grammy Award winner seriously considered becoming a priest in the Episcopal Church but decided that he would not be up for the calling and just because of that reason alone, we should probably all go to church and give thanks. Without Richie in the music industry, there would be no “We Are the World” which he co-wrote with Michael Jackson in 1985.

Richie was the first person to receive an RIAA Diamond Award

If you haven’t figured it out yet, Richie can walk the walk and talk the talk. Whatever he puts his hands on, there’s success. To date, Richie has sold 90 million records worldwide and has won four Grammy Awards.
