Due to financial obligations, many Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood team members were unable to set aside funds for the Holiday season, inspiring employees throughout the property to give back to their fellow colleagues in need.
The annual Adopt-A-Family program, spearheaded by Seminole Hard Rock’s Team Member Relations department, allows employees to donate gifts to the families of team members in need. This year’s program identified 103 families. In all, 223 children were given gifts ranging from learning toys, televisions, video game consoles, bikes, headphones, and gift cards.
Council Oak donated two tablets with keyboards, gift cards, and a variety of other items. General Manager, Dieter Xiao, expressed the overall sentiment on behalf of his team.
“We really pulled together to make a difference in other people’s lives and generously donated to help get a 43 inch HDTV, a PS4, PS Vita, laptops and many other items. We could not be happier and more proud of our team.”
Michelle Cedeno, Team Member Relations Specialist, helped coordinated the program and highlighted the overall importance of Adopt-A-Family.
“Thank you guys so much for doing this. These families are going to be forever grateful. You guys are the best!”
