This year, we were lucky enough to host the Yelp Elite Holiday Party for Broward/Palm Beach! We had about 100 Yelpers enjoying Kuro favorites and signature cocktails.  Elites delighted in good music, good company and overall good vibes while Kuro resident Deejay, Romina Gentilini, kept the party going all night long.

Yelpers exchanged greeting cards, gifts, and hugs while reflecting on how great a year 2016 was. The bartenders and servers of Kuro provided bottomless drinks and endless bites showcasing signature food items from the restaurant’s menu. From Wagyu Tacos to Hokkaido Scallops, each Yelp Elite indulged in an evening they would not forget.

Throughout the night, members participated in an Instagram contest where they were asked to post a photo of a drink or food item with the hashtag #YelpatKuro. The contest garnered over 300 posts, easily surpassing last year’s contest.

Yelp Elites gathered poolside to find out if their names would be announced as the winner. With the backdrop of the pool behind them, nine winners were randomly selected and given a $200 gift card to dine at Kuro.  One lucky Elite member was awarded a three night stay at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel for posting to Instagram more than any other member.

Members were greeted by a chocolate centerpiece designed and sculpted by Pastry Chef, Ross Evans, as they entered the restaurant. The centerpiece featured the Yelp logo like a crown fixed upon a queen’s head, a nod to what the evening would bring. At the end of the night, Yelpers would devour the 3 and-a-half, 4 foot long chocolate sculpture before exchanging goodbyes.
