The Hard Rock Heals Foundation

The 2016 global organization, Hard Rock Heals, is on a mission to enhance people’s lives through the power of music. Recognizing music’s connection to people all over the world through emotion and energy, the Hard Rock Heals Foundation offers grants and assistance to those whose goal is to heal through music. By partnering with similar organizations such as: MyMusicRX, Musicians On Call, Stax Music Academy, Street Symphony, Bombay Teen Challenge, and Nordoff Robbins, the foundation is able to support music, the Hard Rock’s ultimate brand differentiator.

The Hard Rock Café sponsors two children’s rooms in the Joe Dimaggio Children’s Hospital. Through music events and auctions, we raised enough money to have a dedication. The café has had quarterly ambassador events in the hospital including arts and crafts, cookie/brownie drop-offs, etc. In an effort to bring music artists to the hospital, Hard Rock Café successfully brought 5 national artists to JDCH over the years. The café hosted Make a Wish by bringing children to concerts at the AAA, BB&T, and Hard Rock Live for a show and dinner at the café. JDCH was our Founders Day event partner for 2 years where we partnered with the hospital to create an event. We have participated in on-site programs with “kid days,” walks, and more.

Between September and November 2016, guests at Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood were offered the exclusive opportunity to upgrade their hotel package to a Hard Rock Heals Suite, where 100 percent of the proceeds from the required $150 contribution, would be donated to the Hard Rock Heals Foundation. The suite aimed to provide a tranquil environment where guests can relax and revitalize during the duration of their stay. Guests are provided with JBL Authentics L8 speaker and Maduka Yoga Mat. The Hard Rock’s “Healing at the Speed of Sound” playlist, as well as, guided meditations are set to play on an iPad in the room. Keeping the Hard Rock brand in mind, binaural beats are incorporated into music by Brian Eno, Robin Guthrie, Laraaji, Imogen Heap, and Pink Floyd. The end goal is for guests to leave with a peaceful state of mind. Through our unique platform, we know that positive change is possible.
