The Seminole Tribe of Florida, Inc. held it’s annual Toy Drive bringing Holiday joy to children across South Florida. The toy drive was held at Seminole Classic Casino from December 1st – December 3rd. Upon donating an unwrapped toy, guests were entered to win a Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood prize basket or an ipad.
The toys were donated to several charities this year; Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, Russell Reading Foundation, Kids in Distress, HOPE, and E.A.S.E Foundation.
President Mitchell Cypress, members of the Seminole Tribe of Florida, and veterans who fought in the Vietnam war, worked as volunteers during the Toy Drive.
Additionally, The Seminole Tribe of Florida donated numerous additional gifts to each organization and spread holiday cheer when Santa Claus dropped off the gifts to a group of children at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.
