We’re back at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival!

We’re excited to be a part of the upcoming Food Network & Cooking Channel South Beach Wine & Food Festival (SOBEWFF) for another year! This year, our very own Chef Alex Q. Becker and Chef Ross Evans will be getting behind the counter and cooking up some of their favorite recipes.

Chef Alex brings more than two decades of restaurant experience to the Festival. Throughout his illustrious career, Becker has worked with some of the country’s top culinary talent, including James Beard Award winners Marcus Samuelsson, Stephanie Izard, Norman Van Aken and Curtis Duffy, and Emmy Award winner and host of Chopped Ted Allen.

Chef Ross oversees all aspects of pastry operations at the resort and has been awarded more than 10 medals from the American Culinary Federation, including a gold medal for the Professional Chocolate Showpiece Culinary Masters 2012. He was recently recognized with a Silver Medal in National Showpiece Championship at Pastry Live 2016.

South Beach Wine & Food Festival: Rock n’ Roll hosted by Adam Richman on Friday, 2/22 at Auberge Residences in Fort Lauderdale, 10 p.m. to midnight

  • Chef Alex will be participating
  • Dish: Short Rib Gyoza with Miso Pomodoro Sauce

South Beach Wine & Food Festival: Best of the Best, Friday, 2/22 at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, 7 – 10:30 p.m.

  • Chef Ross will be participating
  • Dish: Chocolate Caramel Tart: Layers of soft caramel, dark chocolate ganache, whipped Gianduja cremeux and caramelized hazelnuts

South Beach Wine & Food Festival: Sweets & Beats hosted by Jean-Georges Vongerichten event held on Sat. 2/23 at National Hotel, 10 p.m. – midnight

  • Chef Ross will be participating
  • Dish: Sweet Beets: Verrine of beet mouse-milk chocolate namelaka, olive oil financier, and micro-basil
