Another year, another series! The Third Annual Seminole Hard Rock Poker Open (SHRPO) began  on July 30th, but for the second year in a row, the Charity Series of Poker kicked off last Friday. The tournament benefited Habitat for Humanity International and Habitat for Humanity Broward. Half of each buy-in was donated to to both charities, and the stars came out to play!

Professional poker players like Phil Laak, aka “The Unabomber,” and his girlfriend, actress turned poker player Jennifer Tilly  were of course in attendance.

Stars who love the game, like Omar Benson Miller and Mekhi Phifer, also came to play for the cause.

They even ran into their old co-star from their 8 Mile days and current star of Orange Is The New Black, Taryn Manning at Kuro!

We decided to get them behind the bar with our lead mixologist, Jared Boller, to learn how to make a Kuro signature cocktail, the HACHI.

All in all, the weekend was fun for all and a success for charity!
