November 14th was just a typical Tuesday for most of us, but for one local woman, November 14th will forever be a lucky day.
The winner of Tuesday’s $2.3 million jackpot, one of the largest jackpots in Hard Rock history, lives locally in Cooper City. She has been coming to Seminole Hard Rock for years about two times a month, usually with her family in tow.
This casino trip, the winner booked a room so that she and her son could celebrate his birthday with some relaxation at the pool, dinner at Kuro, and of course, a little gambling.
The Twin Fire slot machines are always her favorite, although she admits she doesn’t always play slots when she visits a casino. She also admitted to speculating with her son as to what they would do with the money if they won, which they never do, she said. After about 10 minutes on the slot machine, she hit the jackpot.
“I feel like I’m always luckier here than I am in Vegas. Now I can certainly say that!”
