Kuro at Taste of the Nation

With the opening of Kuro earlier this year, we were excited to participate in South Florida’s Taste of the Nation event and introduce some amazing dishes to benefit the No Kid Hungry campaign. For those of you who aren’t aware, Taste of the Nation is a premier culinary gathering of top chefs and mixologists coming together to donate their time and talent to end childhood hunger in America.

Chef Alex Becker was on the scene, serving up a well-known favorite, the Wagyu Beef Tacos. The Japanese A5 Wagyu beef is served in a crispy wonton shell with spicy cilantro sauce and soy shallots.

Kuro’s menu is a family kaiseki-style, a traditional Japanese multi-course dinner designed with sharing in mind. Right now, one in five children in America struggles with hunger, including more than one million kids right here in Florida. With the family ideals at the base of our menu items, Kuro didn’t hesitate to get involved.
