Winner of 2017 Battle of the Bands Will Perform at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

WHO

Hard Rock International is calling on emerging musicians to take the center stage for the chance to play during halftime at Hard Rock Stadium. Local bands, artists, and musical acts will compete for the chance to win special prizes and a shot at stardom.

The competition is a live music showcase that attracts a wide-ranging group of artists from all around the globe to compete for a chance to be Hard Rock’s Rising Artist of the Year!

WHAT

Hard Rock, in partnership with ReverbNation, will open registration at HardRockRising.com for local musicians who would like to compete in the battle of the bands competition. “This year’s competition is sure to be just as fierce, and we’re looking forward to putting the winning artist on the fast-track to success with a performance in front of thousands at Hard Rock Stadium,” said Shailyne Berges, Marketing Manager at Hard Rock International.

Following open registration, musicians will receive a URL to share, encouraging their fans and followers to vote online. Whoever receives the highest number of votes will be determined the wildcard “winner” for their local Hard Rock. The top three acts and one wildcard “winner” will perform as part of the Hard Rock Rising Battle of the Bands competition. The panel of judges will be composed of international music industry professionals who will narrow the field of competitors to four regional finalists and one global grand prize winner.

Finalists will receive $1,000, a Fender instruments prize pack, and a 1,000 CD/DVD pack of the artist’s latest recording or video from Bison Disc. The grand prize winner will perform during halftime at Hard Rock Stadium and get an opportunity to create a professionally-produced music video, which will be added to Hard Rock’s world-wide video system.

  • July 11- Second Chance Winner Announced
